ANIMAL MORPH
The following animal morph images were all created using photos that had been previously downloaded in Photoshop. For each combination, the two original images were placed in a new page and the image chosen for overlaying was edited using the magic wand. The tool was selected and the areas to be deleted were the unnecessary background space were clicked on and deleted. However, the edges needed to be refined due to how it appeared pixelated so the smoothness and contrast levels were increased by right clicking on the space and going to the refine edge option.
Once I was happy with the cuts, placed them over the original images and changed the sizes and angles to suit.
My favourite of the three images below is the Gorilla/Cat due to how it is the most realistic looking of them all. The colours and the textures match nearly perfectly as well as the contrast of the black on green creating a good colour scheme. However, I do not really like how it is standing right in the middle of the shot due to how it doesn't really
