LEADING LINES IN ARCHITECTURE PHOTOGRAPHY
Architecture photography incorporates leading lines to grab the viewers attention and lead it away from or up to the main focus of the image.
Of the five images below, my favourite is probably the fourth one of the old wooden ramp. I love the texture and the lighting in this image as well as the contrast that the green weeds create. However, I think that this image could have been a lot better if it was taken from a landscape perspective as the lines of the yard would have been drawn out further.
My least favourite would be the third one of the yards and the old corrugated iron shed. This photo has all the correct elements but I just thought it seemed a bit messy or that there is too much going on. If I had the chance, I would have stopped and tried to go from a different angle but I was just walking past at the time while I was at work so I didn't have a lot of time.
