MY LILLIPUT
My Lilliput photography is the capturing of little characters in order to create and tell a story.
The three of these images were all taken during school hours using a camera provided.
The "World's Best Dad" photo is my favourite of the following due to how it is simply the people and the trophy which enhances to story due to how there is nothing to get distracted about in the background. I particularly really like how the characters are positioned around the bottom of the trophy looking worshipfully up at the father inside. The lighting isn't particularly great in this image so I wasn't fully satisfied with it but it is the best of the ones I captured in the timeframe.
My least favourite is the one of the parents and their child on the rocks (taken in the creek between north and senior). I'm not too fond of this image because the characters aren't in full focus and the lighting lets me down again but I couldn't really help that because it was a dark day outside when this was taken. The story here was that the child wants to play in the water and the mum was worrying about her but the dad was trying to reassure her that their daughter would be fine. However this isn't all that clear in the final product so I probably could have found a better way to reposition the mother to make it more obvious or added more water from my water bottle to surround to rocks in the creek.
